Focal is a concept for a GTM intelligence platform — designed to explore how AI can surface deal risk, prioritise action, and give revenue teams the clarity they are usually missing until a deal slips. We took the product from name and positioning through web presence and dashboard design: a complete vision for what modern sales intelligence could look like when AI does the reading and the rep does the closing.

Design the product sales teams actually need

Most CRMs show you what happened. Focal was designed to show you what is about to happen. The brief we set for ourselves: build a concept tool that makes AI feel genuinely useful in a sales context — not a chatbot bolted onto a pipeline, but a system that reads signals and tells you where to focus. We started with positioning and copy, then built the web presence and product screens from that foundation.

The headline is the product. We wrote it to surface the pain that every sales leader knows but rarely admits out loud: pipelines look full, but confidence in those numbers is low. "Your pipeline is lying to you" names that anxiety directly and positions Focal as the tool that tells the truth. The web design supports that directness — dark, confident, and product-first from the first scroll.

The main dashboard is built around one question: where should I focus today? We designed an overview that surfaces AI win-probability scores, flags deals at risk, and surfaces the most important next action for each rep — all without requiring them to dig into individual deal records. Every metric shown was chosen to reduce time-to-decision, not to fill space with data.

The system acts, the rep closes

Automations in Focal are where the AI moves from advisor to actor. The flow builder lets teams configure triggers, conditions, and sequences that run on the AI's read of each deal — not a static rule set. A deal flagged as at risk routes to an objection-handling sequence automatically; a high-probability deal fast-tracks to a close sequence. We designed the canvas to feel intuitive even for non-technical users: clear branching, readable labels, and explicit AI decision points.
